Hi all-went to the walk-in clinic today for a sinus infection (my reg doc is not in Thurs and Fri) and that’s good, she refuses to treat my sinus issues, I have had chronic sinus problems for 15 years. Anyways, I got to see the spine doc today and he really listened to me, he worked me all over and said my body is filled with inflammation. Possible plantar faciitis, the CTS, back pain, neck everywhere. He said he wanted me to try prednisone and see how I respond and that would tell him what the next step should be, what does that mean? He also wonders if it is thyroid related although it tested fine in May of 2012.
I hear the warnings of prednisone and I am nervous, yet desperate for relief. I take 60 mgs for 3 and taper from there for 12 days. Any thoughts?
